Abstract:

This abstract examines the integration of aesthetic education with ideological and political training in medical colleges. It emphasizes the concept of "aesthetic education" within "integrated ideological and political education." The focus is on moral and aesthetic development in students, alongside building campus culture. The approach utilizes traditional Chinese medicine's strengths and professional traits in its aesthetic education system.

Medical students receive aesthetic training through courses, activities, and other methods. This approach blends medical aesthetics with Civic-Constitutionalism practice. It aims to instill cultural confidence and national identity, using the beauty of medical science. Ultimately, the goal is to develop medical students' aesthetic personalities through beauty-infused moral and ethical education.

Introduction

"Aesthetic education is the education of aesthetic, as well as education of sentiment and mind. Aesthetic education and moral education, intellectual education, and physical education complement each other and promote each other."(Zhang Yi and Xue K.Y.2020) [1]School aesthetic education is the work of cultivating roots and casting souls, and comprehensively strengthening and improving aesthetic education is an important task for higher education in the current and future periods(Zeng S.P. Chen Q.J. and et al.2021)[2].

Modern educator Cai Yuanpei advocated that the content of education is a combination of all five elements of education, fully emphasizing the importance of aesthetic education, that aesthetic education is the way to realize the spirit of personality. From Confucius to Cai Yuanpei, they all emphasized the unique function of aesthetic and humanistic education in educating people(Quoted from Nie Z.B. 2012)[3].

Entering the new era, aesthetic education has received more and more attention, and the state has officially written aesthetic education into the education policy(Chen, S.Y.2020)[4]. Since the inception of the discipline of ideological and political education, there have been scholars who have drawn on the theory of aesthetics to look at the construction of the theory of ideological and political education and the practice of work(Li, Z.J. and Zhong Q.D.2018)[5]. Literacy and comprehensive education are the focus of ideological and political education in colleges and universities, and aesthetic education is also the main cultivation path for comprehensive education.

Aesthetic personality is a multi-level concept of personality, which includes the personality in aesthetics, philosophy, and ethics in ideological and political education; aesthetic personality refers to the development of a person's character quality, ideological and moral level to the highest level of truth, goodness, and beauty, and also has the characteristics of practice, freedom, emotion, creativity, and transcendence, and has the dynamic development trend of positivity, which needs to be gradually developed to the aesthetic realm in the long-term practice(Wang, L.X.2019)[6].

Confucius said in Analects of Confucius - Tai Bo that "to rise in Poetry, to establish in Rites, and to become a man of music" is the way for a gentleman to cultivate his personality(Qian, C.X.2005)[7].

It can be seen that the combination of aesthetic education and ideological education, the overall goal is to give full play to the role of ideological education in shaping people's moral character, to take the socialist core values as the basic value scale for measuring social aesthetics, and to promote the positive externalization of the aesthetic personality of college students, which can, to a certain extent, alleviate the crisis of the social personality, correct the social civilization bias, and bring an immeasurable positive impact on the development of social aestheticization(Tu, Y.A.2017)[8].

In order to comprehensively implement the spirit of General Secretary Xi Jinping's important speeches on ideological and political and aesthetic education(Zeng S.P. Chen Q.J. and et al.2021)[9], and in accordance with the requirements of the Guiding Outline for the Construction of Civic Politics in Higher Education Programs, the Implementation Plan for the Reform and Innovation of Ideological and Political Theory Courses in Schools in the New Era[10], and the Opinions on Comprehensively

Strengthening and Improving the Work of Aesthetic Education in Schools in the New Era[11], how can higher vocational colleges of the medical category focus on the central work of education, combine with the characteristics of the profession of traditional Chinese medicine, integrate teaching and learning resources, deeply tapping new resources of ideology and politics, strengthening practical teaching and educating people, so as to educate people with beauty, educate virtue with beauty, and shape the aesthetic personality that inherits the excellent traditional Chinese culture and nourish the future medical workers in the new era with the spirit of aesthetic education; conducting the exploratory research on the integration of medical aesthetic education into ideology and politics practice is of great significance for the higher vocational colleges and universities of medicine to better implement the Party's education policy of the new era and implement the fundamental task of establishing morality and education for the people, and at the same time, it has a significant meaning on aesthetic education education, ideological and political education and aesthetic personality practice research has certain practical significance and guiding significance.

1.The Significance of integration ideological and political education in Aesthetic Education

1.1 Exploring new Models, Practices, Mechanisms, and Environments

Integrating aesthetic and moral education, adopting flexible teaching, subconsciously integrating aesthetic elements in the Civics classroom, promoting the new development of ideologicals education in medical higher vocational colleges, and implementing the spirit of moral education. Explore the new mode of aesthetic and moral education in the teaching of ideologicals and Politics, enhance students' emotional experience, guide them to learn to reasonably release pressure, correctly view the events around them, perfect their personality, improve their moral cultivation, and realize the emotional touch(Huang J. 2021)[12].

Fully implement the concept of "educating people with emotions" in the new curriculum model, and cultivate new youth of the times with the spirit of aesthetic education. By actively building the practice of combining aesthetic education and ideological education, the teaching body is guided to utilize its subjective initiative, and through active participation and in-depth exploration, experience the charm of beauty and virtue (Huang J.2021)[12].

Combined with the classroom outside the classroom, online and offline to guide students to read practical activities, using "learning, research, creation" and other forms, the knowledge of aesthetic education and the ideological and political education of medical students are integrated, applied and sublimated, so that students can obtain a rich emotional experience.

It helps students to acquire comprehensive problem-solving ability through participation in inquiry, to gain a sense of achievement in practical activities, to harvest different pleasures, to sublimate their ideology, to perfect the development of personality, and to enhance the effectiveness and emotionality of ideological and political education.

Attaching importance to the law of ideological and Political Education and the reform of the curriculum, adopting the new form of combining elective and compulsory courses, expanding the teaching content, perfecting the teaching objectives, and organizing teachers' open lectures and seminars regularly to improve the teaching quality of the ideological and Political Courses in the higher vocational colleges and universities of medical sciences(Huang J. 2021)[12].

The establishment of related workshops and scientific research organizations, the joint development of new ideological and political courses with aesthetic and humanistic flavor, the exploration of innovative and practical teaching materials used in practice, enhance the effective integration of interdisciplinary, to achieve the linkage of aesthetic and moral education.

Through the coordination of various organizations and departments, we will form educational synergy and explore an effective mechanism for the development of ideological and Political Education. By creating a strong cultural atmosphere of "beauty" and "morality" and helping students to gain in-depth experience, we will gradually improve the comprehensiveness and synthesis of ideological and Political teaching and enhance the quality of ideological and Political teaching in the context of the new era(Huang J. 2021)[12].

1.2 Forming a synergy of educating

Make full use of the aesthetic and ideological elements in the aesthetic courses, ideological courses, and professional courses of Chinese medicine, by organizing students to carry out a variety of cultural and artistic activities and multimedia creation and display activities, integrating resources, strengthening practical teaching, promoting the integration of aesthetic education and ideological practice, forming the nurturing synergy of the aesthetic courses and the ideological education in the same direction, and adhering to close to the actual, close to the life, and close to the students, and shaping aesthetic personality in expanded pathways(Tang Z.L.2011)[13].

The implementation of the integration of aesthetic education in ideological and Political Education has an important impact on the development of students' worldviews, outlooks on life and values, and a good education of the three outlooks is aimed at the pursuit of the sublime, the true, the good and the beautiful.

Closely linked to the new crown pneumonia epidemic, medical events, combined with the professional characteristics of Chinese medicine, through a variety of artistic expressions to publicize and tell the heroic stories of medical personnel and inspirational stories of experts and professors, popularize the fear of nature, caring for life, the concept of health, epidemic prevention and control, medical and health care, and other ideological and political education, guiding students to discover the problem, analyze and think about the problem, so that the students continue to be inspired and come to a conclusion, so that the beauty of nature, the beauty of thought, the beauty of art spring and nourish the soul, grasp the inner scale, and shape the aesthetic personality in the unity of truth, goodness, and beauty(Tang Z.L.2011)[13].

1.4 Cultivating students' ability to feel beauty

In the concept of "aesthetic education + ideological and political education"under the mode of "integrated ideological and political education", we cultivate student's ability to feel beauty, help them recognize themselves, express themselves, and shape themselves, and cultivate them to become people who can discover, share, and create beauty.

Based on the current situation of aesthetic education in medical higher vocational colleges and universities, we carry out the campus cultural connotation construction around the spirit of aesthetic education in the new era and the social beauty demonstrated by medical workers. Based on condensing the system of aesthetic and moral education with the advantages of disciplines and characteristics of the TCM profession, we inculcate students with aesthetic education through the system of aesthetic education courses, practical participation, integration of activities, creation of environments, and other forms of aesthetic education and incorporate aesthetic education into ideological and political practices, to infuse the beauty of medicine and the beauty of thought into the students' minds.

The beauty of medical education is integrated into the practice of ideology and politics so that the beauty of medicine and the beauty of thought can infiltrate the campus(Guo Z.J.2005)[16], to educate people with beauty, educate the heart with beauty, educate virtue with beauty, optimize the environmental atmosphere, and shape the aesthetic personality in the overall effect(Tang Z.L.2011)[13].

2.    The role of  integration ideological and political education in Aesthetic Education for aesthetic personality development among the medical students

2.1 The need to fully implement education and policy guidelines

To ensure that the education of medical students, moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and laborious all-round development can be realized, it is necessary to aesthetic personality shaping to make the education policy into practice. Ideological and political education into the heart and brain, so that the characteristics of the Chinese nation and the development of the times are more deeply embedded in the personality of medical students.

2.2 The highlighting of aesthetic characteristics of mainstream value culture.

Based on fully respecting the freedom of speech, the negative social psychological conditions and social dissent are channeled, so that public opinion propaganda with mainstream aesthetic values becomes authoritative, and the public can be answered and guided in a reasonable and justified manner.

It should also firmly safeguard the leadership and discourse power of Marxism, ensure the leading and dominant position of mainstream consciousness and mainstream values in social opinion, guide the public to abide by the "seven base lines" of online public opinion, and promote a positive aesthetic value culture, to jointly promote a rational and peaceful social opinion environment and realize a harmonious aesthetic public opinion ecology.

3.Shaping and Exploring

3.1 Strengthen the connotation construction of curriculum construction, campus culture, campus environment, aesthetic education, ideology classroom, and association construction, and improve the medical humanistic quality

4.Implementation Effect

In practice, they felt the beauty of the relationship between people, learned to identify the good, beautiful, evil, and ugly of language, behavior, and thoughts in interpersonal communication, realized the importance of the harmonious development of human beings and the natural world, and more deeply understood the meaning of the beauty of the society, especially through what they saw and heard, and gained a further understanding of the adherence to the leadership of the Communist Party of China, which is the interest of all the ethnic groups of the nation and the happiness of all the peoples of the country. This is a concrete manifestation of the "unity of indoctrination and enlightenment" of the ideologicals and Political Science Class, and also a manifestation of "educating people with beauty and nurturing morality with beauty" to be put into practice.

5.Conclusion  

Based on the status quo of aesthetic and ideological education in medical higher vocational colleges and universities, and centering on the spirit of aesthetic education in the new era and the social beauty demonstrated by medical workers, we carry out the inner construction of campus culture, and, based on condensing the aesthetic education system with the advantages of the disciplines and the characteristics of the profession of traditional Chinese medicine, we inculcate aesthetic education in the students through the system of the aesthetic education curriculum, the integration of activities, the participation in practice, the creation of environment and other ways, and incorporate the aesthetic education of medicine into ideological and political practice, to make The beauty of medicine and the beauty of thought to infiltrate the campus, to educate people with beauty, educate the heart with beauty, and educate virtue with beauty.
